With the various scale reactions, where are you now in terms of total floor area?

Did Sam say when a formal Shade study will be provided? (I arrived to meeting late)

Scott/Paul - How wide is the sidewalk on NE?

Some these renderings show marked cross walks. Will these be part of the project?
mel yoo
01:34:01
Sam I really like sun 3-5
Victoria Milne
01:35:11
I may have missed this but will there be commercial uses at the sidewalk level?
alison
01:35:52
Can you address the parking situation for 172 units without designated parking?
mel yoo
01:35:52
How do you see cars queuing up to enter during events? there is only 100 feet to entry on that street
Richard Potestio
01:36:07
Did you consider reducing east block and adding to the west block, allowing for a less massive appearance of the tower?

01:36:09
Can Ankrom develop “street views” that include the whole building? Or rather, will they?
alison
01:37:33
Except if you belong to the MAC

I feel that the responses to DAR are less successful than the original design. What is your belief regarding achieving a human scale with regard to the elevations?
mel yoo
01:41:53
if they don’t pass out from poison gas
alison
01:45:44
Is there any kind of official city traffic/transportation study that will be conducted in relationship to this design. The traffic and parking implications of this are huge.
Tiffany Lace
01:46:50
^^^I agree
alison
01:47:02
What are other residential structures with 405 parking spots that can be used as a point of comparison?
mel yoo
01:50:10
The design is not really the issue, it’s the 17-story height, that can’t be solved with any design improvements
Victoria Milne
01:56:23
This is a fine-scaled, very pedestrian area at the moment, with houses and very human-scaled detail. The refinement of the articulation on the sidewalk level is really important to whether or not a building supports the pedestrian, neighborhood, experience. It is a little tough to see a 4-story facade on the sidewalk in this non-arterial location. Is there any chance to have a shorter pediment?
jeraldpowell
02:00:23
Rick’s got a great point… grouping the window bays does lose a certain element of human scale.
alison
02:03:00
It isn’t a 1.2 ratio - you said it was .5

Asa Building?
Laurie
02:05:36
I prefer the recent design changes over the previous proposal. The landscaping and water features you described for 20th sound attractive. The entrance to the lobby looked really nice plain with cement planters.
Laurie
02:06:06
I meant the lobby entrance looks very plain.

The MAC is a city club. If they want endless parking they should move to Beaverton
mel yoo
02:07:27
I can’t believe the MAC still wants parking - haven’t they heard auto drone passenger service is coming soon
mel yoo
02:10:12

Can Sam type the names of those comparable buildings into the chat?
alison
02:12:07
Comparable units to parking
mel yoo
02:16:13
Sam Sam Sam seriously?
alison
02:16:30
Can Sam type the names of the buildings with the comparable units/parking ratios into the chat? Also where we can get the info on those ratios since he is on the design commission?
